Prehnite is a calcium aluminum silicate mineral, known for its soft coloration ranging from pale green to apple green, although it can also be found in white, yellow, or even colorless hues. Drusy formation occurs when geological conditions allow a mineral-rich solution to saturate a cavity or fracture in the rock. Over time, prehnite crystals begin to precipitate and grow, adhering to the cavity walls and forming a layer of interconnected crystals.
