Specimens of Descloizite.
Descloizite is a lead and zinc vanadate. This specimen usually occurs in aggregates of small reddish-brown or greenish-black crystals with an intense lustre. It occurs in the oxidation zones of heavy metal deposits. It is a dense mineral and, although less fragile than zeolites, its surface crystals must be handled with care.
