It belongs to the orthorhombic system and is classified in the group of silicates. The Olivine, is found in nature forsterite and Fayalita.
We usually find it in the form of small green crystals and in volcanic sites or, especially in St Johns pump island in Egypt are crystals of considerable size that can be used for size. Places where you can find olivine, virtually anywhere with volcanic activity. In Spain, highlight the specimens of the Garrotxa, Girona.
