Meteorites are the remains of a celestial object that has fallen to the Earth's surface. In this case, they are of the variety known as tectites.
Tectites are fragments of glassy meteorites. Their round shape is produced by high speed and high temperature, which causes an oval/round shape with small craters. This is one of the proofs that they come from outside the Earth.
