Specimens of Smithsonite.
Smithsonite is a zinc carbonate belonging to the calcite group. This specimen usually occurs in botryoidal masses or rhombohedral crystals with a wide variety of colours, ranging from blue-green to pink or white. It occurs in the oxidation zones of zinc deposits.
Origin: Almería (Spain)
Size of pieces: approx. 4-5 cm.
They come presented in a box with a window.
