Selenite crystals in the form of Desert Rose size 50-60mm coin.
It belongs to the monoclinic crystallization system and is classified in the sulphate group. In nature, we find it in marine evaporites, in caves where the air is sufficiently dry. When you find amorphous masses, the name you get is that of plaster or its alabaster variety. It can be located all around the planet and in Spain the crystals are famous for their quality, those coming from Zaragoza, Murcia and Teruel.
