Sage is one of the most widely used aromatic plants in the world of natural medicine.
Sage is native to the American Southwest, California, and Northwest Mexico. The native Indians of these regions used this plant in their ancestral rituals to purify both the body and the environment. It was believed that the smoke emitted by Salvia, once inhaled, provided well-being and purified the environment of bad energies.
